About the Rotary Club of Barrie and its support of patient care.

The Rotary Club of Barrie has a long history of supporting patient care at RVH including its most recent $350,000 pledge in support of the development of the Simcoe Muskoka Regional Cardiac Program and the Simcoe Muskoka Regional Child and Youth Mental Health Program. The Rotary Club of Barrie's support has helped bring care closer to home for those in our region.

Key facts:

  • Since opening the RVH Simcoe Muskoka Regional Child and Youth Mental Health Program, RVH has provided mental health services to thousands of young people in our region.
  • Since opening the RVH Simcoe Muskoka Regional Heart Program, RVH has been able to offer the "Gold Standard" of care to residents of Simcoe County including Barrie, Innisfil, Collingwood, Wasaga Beach, Midland, Orillia and Rama First Nation - which allows patients coming from a community hospital, who meet the criteria for advanced cardiac care, to receive that care in less than 120 minutes from the onset of symptoms.

Your support of the Rotary Club of Barrie's Ice Fishing Tournament Raffle will help ensure that exceptional patient care is always available in the moments that matter most. When you or your family, friends and neighbours require lifesaving services, RVH and our highly skilled team is always ready and equipped - and will continue to be with the support of our generous community.
